Steel string guitars with an ergonomic contour design by American Luthier Linda Manzer. Linda has kindly given her personal permission for Ellis Guitars to reproduce the "Wedge" on his guitars. This ergonomic design tilts the fingerboard upward. You don't have to lean forward to see what you are doing. This reduces strain on your neck, shoulders and upper and lower back. The wedge also allows you to keep your strumming arm closer into your body, which also reduces strain and discomfort. Overall, the wedge contour allows you to sit more upright when playing, improving posture and reducing hunching and back pain.
