I've been using the Ellis stomp for about a month now and it's been working really well. The biggest advantage of this particular stomp is the compact size.  I use your fab little stompbox in an acoustic duo with my wife. I run it into a Route 66 compressor,with just a little attack to catch the first peak,turn the tone to full bass,then into the PA with mucho low eq. I use my two stompboxes like a kind of Kick- Snare combination. The snare one with more high and processed. I love the sound, and sometimes I use it with different sticks (chopsticks or mallet sticks or the small rubber ones for "Glockenspiel"). Everyone likes the sound and is astonished: "Whats that?" they ask. I play "Free Music" mostly vocals and arch-tops ,and now my two stomp-Boxes. They also sound very good on recordings. I love my Ellis Stomp box. It's small enough to take with me anywhere, and the design gives me total control over the sounds I make. For such a compact piece of equipment, it's surprisingly versatile.

My stomp box arrived yesterday and it's beautiful! I noticed that you can get a variety of sounds depending on where/how the foot hits it too. I'm hoping to record some live playing with it on the weekend.
