National Reso-Phonic Lace Pickup
The National/Lace pickup was designed by National Reso-Phonic Guitars and Lace Music Products. It is a double coil, humbucking, thin line pickup, designed to be affixed to the top of a guitar at the end of the fretboard under the strings. It is affixed with 3M double-stick tape making it removeable in the future. It is .200" thick allowing clearance of the strings. It has one lead wire that is provided with a 1/4" jack that can be attached to the strap button utilizing a small loop. Or, the pickup can be hardwired to any 1/4" jack that is installed into the side of the guitar in the traditional manner. This National/Lace pickup incorporates all of the best qualities of an extremely fat sounding humbucker while still being microphonic enough to amplify the nuances of the actual resonator vibrations emitting from the body itself. You can hear the tonal differences between a tricone and a single cone set up exactly the same.
